PlayStation 4 controller Surfaces: DualShock 4

Finally, leaks are starting to coming out from nowhere days before PS4 paper launch. This time PS4 controller pics have been emerged online. Some says these are prototypes. But most of them say it’s indeed the final controller. Some parts of the new controller looks inspired from Playstation Vita and xbox 360 controllers. On Top of the controller there’s Move Tracking Light glowing. At the center of the touchpad there’s the touch pad. And the analog sticks are modified. Between the two analog sticks there’s the Playstation button. Above that you can see speaker and below that you can see an unknown port. It could be an audio jack or something. And there is mysterious button near the new D-Pad. Possibly share button or select button.

Sony to unveil PS3 successor at Feb. 20 event

The long awaited moment has been arrived. Sony Corp. is planning to unveil its next-generation home videogame console during a February event, showing off a successor to its current PlayStation 3 system. Probably the PS4 (aka.PlayStation 4).
Sources say Ps3 successor will be released with new redesigned controller. And launch by the end of the year in Japan and the US. PlayStation 4’s European launch will follow in early 2014.
Some other news is that GTA 5 is late because it’s on development for PS4. And Ubisoft is working on a PS4 title “Ivory Tower” which could be a launch title. And uncharted 4 could be another launch title for PS4

EA teases plans for Battlefield 4 reveal (Next-Gen)

Electronic Arts (EA) game will reveal the details of the mighty action game Battlefield 4 (BF4) in about 90 days. That is 3 months from today. Possibly on April last week or May first week. The publisher has teased about the reveal on Next generation formats. Possibly for Playstation 4 and Next Xbox ( Xbox 720). So the next gen consoles may be revealed before Bf4 announcement.
Still some months left for the release of PS4. If BF4 is coming to Ps4 then this could be the best game launch for PS4. Battlefield 4 may get released after FIFA 14 in September 2013.

PS4 SPEC VS Xbox 720 SPEC (Rumored Specs)

Game pundits say PS4 release is closer than ever. But President and CEO of Sony Corporation Kazuo Hirai hints release of Xbox 720 earlier than ps4. And this time we have an uninvited guest called “SteamBOX” by valve. And Next Generation Battle starts now.
And here’s the latest rumored spec comparison of the 3 Console. I doubt steambox is a console or PC.

CPU : AMD A10 APU with run capability of 1.84 teraflop
PS4 spec leak (by user on NeoGaF forum)
The APU is not an A10 and has 4 Steamroller cores in it. And the ram is only 3.5GB and is in 3 pools. 2GB GDDR5 for the APU, 1GB DDR3 for the SCC, and 512mb XDR (for Cell). And  PS4 is backward compatible with PS3 and PS2.
